Signal and warning guide

Every APEX signal appears as a labelled arrow on your chart. The label tells you the session, direction, entry price and — in APEX Elite — a confidence rating based on what lies between your entry and TP1. This guide explains every label type and what action to take.

Understanding the label

Each label contains four pieces of information stacked vertically:

UK LONG
0900-1000
1.08824
[no warning = clear path]
Line 1 — Session and direction
Which session fired the signal and whether it is a long or short entry. EU / UK / NY / AU followed by LONG or SHORT.
Line 2 — Session time window
The opening range window for that session in your chosen timezone.
Line 3 — Entry price
The closing price of the breakout candle — your entry price.
Line 4 — Confidence warning (Elite only)
Only appears when a HTF level sits between entry and TP1. Empty means clear path.

Signal types

Clear bullish signal

UK LONG
0900-1000
1.08824

What it means

A bullish breakout candle has closed above the session range. No HTF levels between entry and TP1 — the path is clear.

Take trade at full size

Clear bearish signal

EU SHORT
0800-0900
1.08560

What it means

A bearish breakout candle has closed below the session range. No HTF levels between entry and TP1 — clean run to target.

Take trade at full size

Amber caution — bullish

NY LONG
1530-1630
1.08612
[!] NOTE: PDC in path

What it means

Valid signal but the Previous Day Close (PDC) sits between your entry and TP1. Price may pause or stall at that level before continuing.

Consider targeting TP1 only

Red warning — bullish

UK LONG
0900-1000
1.08740
[!] CAUTION: HTF level in path

What it means

Valid signal but a strong HTF level (PDH, PDL, WKH or WKL) sits between entry and TP1. High risk of the trade stalling before reaching target.

Reduce size or skip

Amber caution — bearish

EU SHORT
0800-0900
1.08490
[!] NOTE: PDC in path

What it means

Valid bearish signal but PDC sits between entry and TP1. Consider closing at TP1 and re-evaluating rather than running to TP2 or TP3.

Consider targeting TP1 only

Red warning — bearish

NY SHORT
1530-1630
1.08380
[!] CAUTION: HTF level in path

What it means

Valid bearish signal but a strong HTF level (PDL or WKL) sits below entry between price and TP1. Support may reject the move before target.

Reduce size or skip

Quick reference — warning levels

Session label reference

Label prefix Session Default time (UK) Best instruments
EU European open 08:00 — 09:00 EUR/GBP pairs, FRA40, DAX
UK London open 09:00 — 10:00 All major forex, FTSE indices
NY New York open 15:30 — 16:30 USD pairs, US30, NAS100, gold
AU Asia / Australia open 23:50 — 00:50 AUD/JPY pairs, gold, Asian indices
Remember: The confidence rating tells you about obstacles between entry and TP1. It does not tell you whether the signal itself is valid — all signals shown have already passed the engulfing filter, the 5-hour window check and the HTF exclusion buffer. A red warning label is still a tradeable signal — just one that deserves extra caution on position size.
