ACCESS AND SETUP
I can't find APEX in TradingView's invite-only scripts
Access is usually granted within a few minutes of purchase. If it has been more than 30 minutes, check that the TradingView username you provided at checkout is correct. Usernames are case sensitive. Contact us at hello@apexbreakout.com with your username and order confirmation and we will resolve it promptly.
My access has expired but my subscription is still active
This can happen if your subscription renews but the TradingView access grant doesn't refresh automatically. Contact us and we will reactivate it within a few hours. To avoid this in future, make sure your Whop payment method is up to date.
I changed my TradingView username — how do I update my access?
Email us your old username and new username and we will transfer access. Note that TradingView only allows username changes once per year.
Can I use APEX on multiple TradingView accounts?
Each subscription grants access to one TradingView username. If you need access on a second account, contact us and we can discuss options.
SIGNALS AND CHART
No signals are showing on my chart
Check the following in order:
1. Are you on the 5-minute timeframe? APEX is calibrated for 5-minute charts only.
2. Is the session you're watching enabled? Check the session toggle in settings.
3. Has the session window already closed? Signals can only fire within 5 hours of the session closing.
4. Is the engulfing filter too strict? Try reducing the Min Body Size percentage in Signal Settings.
5. Are you trading on a weekend or public holiday? Markets are closed and no sessions will fire.

I'm getting signals outside of the session windows
This was a known issue that has been resolved in APEX v1.2. Make sure you are running the latest version. If you are and the issue persists, note the time and instrument and send us a screenshot — we will investigate immediately.
The session boxes are showing at the wrong time
This is almost always a timezone or DST issue. Check that your Display Timezone in settings matches your local time. If you are in the UK, select UK / London. During US DST weeks in March, change the NY Open start hour from 15 to 14.
SL and TP lines are not showing
SL and TP lines only draw on today's signals to keep historical charts clean. If you are viewing a past date in replay mode or have scrolled back in history, the lines will not appear. They will show on live signals during the current trading day. Also confirm Show SL and TP Lines is enabled in the Stop Loss and Take Profit settings group.
The Asia / Australia session is not showing
The Asia / Australia session is disabled by default as most traders do not trade overnight. Enable it under Asia / Australia Open → Enable Asia / Asia / Australia Open in settings. The session crosses midnight UK time so it uses two session strings internally — if the box still doesn't appear after enabling, check the AU Open start hour is set to 23 in the Timezone settings.
I switched chart instrument and got a false signal immediately
This was caused by stale session state carrying over from the previous instrument. APEX v1.2 includes an automatic symbol change reset that clears all session data the moment you switch instruments. Update to the latest version to resolve this.
ALERTS AND AUTOMATION
My TradingView alerts are not firing
Check the following:
1. The alert must be set to Once Per Bar Close — not Once Per Bar or On Every Tick.
2. Free TradingView accounts are limited to 1 active alert. If you have another alert active it may be blocking APEX.
3. TradingView alerts require your browser tab to be open or the mobile app to be running.
4. Check TradingView's alert log (the bell icon) to see if the alert fired but the notification was missed.

Yes — lifetime access is permanent with no recurring charges. It includes all future updates to your tier's feature set. If APEX is ever sunset or significantly rebuilt, lifetime holders will be given priority access to any successor product.
